There is no other black sabbath than the ozzy years.

While I love Ozzy solo I dont care much for his work with Sabbath. Sabbath created much better and much more music without Ozzy.

My favorite Sabbath singers and era's:

1. Ronnie James Dio (The Devil You Know, Heaven And Hell, Dehumanizer, Mob Rules)
2. Tony Martin (Headless Cross, The Eternal Idol, TYR, Cross Purposes, Forbidden)
3. Ian Gillian (Born Again)
4. Glenn Hughes (Seventh Star)

I respect all eras of BS. Ozzy's is still my fave, though, as he's the original and best!

Ill agree they created much more complicated music without ozzy , but theres just something about ozzy being there that makes it all cool for me , they was the first rock band i ever got into , I was there during the ozzy era and remember it so well. If sabbath had the music of post ozzy and the vocals of OZZY that would have rocked.

Agreed!

One of the most underrated Sabbath discs and one of the best post-Ozzy songs. This one has Tony Martin on vocals.

Never liked ozzy's voice to much..I liked the Technical Ecstasy record that sabbath did...I like most of the songs ozzzy does not sing..I respect his talent though....Just not crazy about his voice...

Check out the video I posted above. Tony sung on SIX Sabbath albums. It's too bad most of them are out of print as Tony is one of the best vocalists in metal history!

Me too!!! You can still get Eternal Idol from cduniverse but they dont have any of the others with Tony.

Ozzy was perfect with Sabbath. Dio became God. Gillan was always himself. But I love Tony Martin a lot.

So far Dio era Sabbath has produced 4 great studio albums, 2 live albums and a couple new tracks on the hits disc. Hopefully when Ronnie gets better they will be able to release more H&H material. Someone told me that Ronnie has actually been in Sabbath more total years than Ozzy was. I think that sounds correct but I would have to look it up.... Wiki dat shit!

that is interesting norm. I know people always equate sabbath with Ozzy but Dio is the man!
