NIGHTWISH 2000-09

One of my all-time fave metal bands!

I've always especially loved NW's cover of the Gary Moore classic Over The Hills And Far Away! The first time I saw NW, they closed with that tune! I'll never forget it! I did not want that show to end!

Why have you started this at 2000? They first album came out in 1997

Loved them till they booted Tarja.

Love NightWish. Love them even more with Annette on vocals.

Angels Fall First

Elvenpath is definitely an all time classic. Beauty and the Beast,Angels Fall First, Tutankhamen and Nymphomaniac Fantasia are all songs I love.


Oceanborn

Walking in the Air is a classic, but I love Star Gazers, Moon Dance, The Riddler and Sleeping Sun.


Wishmaster

Kinslayer is my favourite Nightwish song, Wishmaster is a legend, so are She is My Sin, Crownless, Dead Boys Poem.


Century Child

Love this album! Phantom of the Opera, Bless the Child, Ocean Soul, Feel For You.



Once

Wish I had an Angel is my fav, but I love The Siren, Nemo and Ghost Love Score.


I love the cover Over the Hills and Far Away too.


but Dark Passion Play is my favourite Nightwish album. Love each song from this album.

It amazes me how people prefer her of Tarja. I can see how opera vocals are not everyones cup of tea, But at least she can sing.

I am unsure what is there to be amazed in the first place, perhaps it is a personal preference. And by no means is Tarja a bad vocalist, just that I prefer Annette more and her style fits in my liking.

I much prefer NW with Tarja on vocals, but Anette is OK, too.

that is merely a personal taste and opinion.

I truly wish they come out with another stellar record.

They have been touring for this last album for far too long. Time to record and release a new CD!

Yeah it is about time.
